Microsoft has pushed a new update to Windows 10 Mobile Devices in the fast ring. Windows 10 Mobile Build 15055 brings no new features and it is obvious as Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update is feature-locked. However, Microsoft has fixed several bugs and some improvements have been introduced as well.

Microsoft has improved speech reliability by fixing a bug where Cortana was unexpectedly failing with a connection error. Furthermore, Microsoft has fixed a bug which was causing problems in multi-turn Cortana speech interactions. The fix is related to Groove Music, now the volume control wouldn’t stop working when listening to music in Groove.

There are some annoying bugs as well, your device might reboot unexpectedly and in some cases you may lose your call, text, and email history. Furthermore, pages in Microsoft Edge will be constantly reloading or refreshing, especially while they are in the middle of scrolling. Please note that you might be not able to start Inbox apps such as Windows Store, it means you will no longer able to receive app updates.

Windows Phone users can expect new features with Windows 10 Redstone 3. Microsoft has planned to bring a lot of major changes to the operating system such as a new design language called NEON will be introduced. Furthermore, Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 3 update will improve the Continuum for phones feature. • but seriously, why should they publish it with all these bugs? It doesn't make sense to me. It's not as if it has many fixes or features.

    • the only bug I have had on this build is the store not being able to update. also the feedback hub but was able to rest that app in setting/app/rest

        • Windows 10 Creators Update is feature-locked, expect new features with Redstone 3 update. And every OS has some bugs (it is impossible to release a preview update with no bugs at all). Microsoft will fix the most annoying bugs before public release.
