  • Does this work with 512MB RAM devices? I wonder if Microsoft changed the update system, because so far it was not possible to update devices like Lumia 530 by joining Insider Program, even if you changed registry values. I think once you join Insider Program hardware (or some kind of unique ID) is also a requirement, while the "normal" updates from Current Branch (the public one) only uses model description that you can trick via registry as described on the article.

    • Should work on 512MB RAM devices. This trick simply changes any phone to a Lumia 950 - it is eligible for all upgrades. However, W10M on 512MB RAM is buggy.
