After rolling out a new update to the Windows 10 Mobile Fall Creators Update devices, the company has also pushed Windows 10 Mobile Build 15063.728 to the Windows Phones with the Creators Update. The update is available for the non-Insiders and is rolling out gradually.

Microsoft has also rolled out the same build to Windows 10 PCs, while the PC version comes with a lot of bug fixes, Microsoft has fixed only one bug in Windows 10 Mobile. The company has fixed an issue where “attempting to clean temporary files on the Windows Phone results in the error code E_FAIL”.

Apart from the above-mentioned changes, you can also expect minor bug fixes and performance related improvements. If the entire changelog is taken into consideration, it appears that Microsoft has finally fixed a bug that causes Microsoft Edge to stop responding when scrolling.

Windows 10 Mobile Build 15063.728 is only available for the officially supported phones, the Windows Phones such as the Lumia 640 & 640 XL, and the ones that didn’t get version 1709 are eligible for the update.

The build also has some known issues but only for Windows 10 PCs. At the moment, the update appears to be still rolling out, you can check for updates from Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update.

  • tried android for two months and gave up out of frustration with half baked Microsoft apps. what baffles me day and night is why windows is failing. it is the best by a long stride (no clue about apple with 10% market share, though). why did every company decide not to build apps for windows? thurrott and Mary Joe are very smart but unfortunately they cannot answer that question. Nadella and Ballmer are very smart but they are not telling the truth either. is it patent infringement, is it worldwide hatred of MS, mostly US, though, or what is it? Microsoft is ofcourse a lot to blame... they have been constantly ruining the vision of windows lately almost deliberately... navigation items have been put in all 4 corners to make android users feel at home... Joe B was exiled to North Korea for an year... hubs were sabotaged... it has become Chinese checkers... I could put 400 pages of reasons why this is sabotage. if someone can enlighten me, I will send $50 by PayPal. need to get my night sleep back.
