A couple of days ago, Microsoft rolled out an app update for Windows Phones that accidentally disabled the Mail and Calendar apps on some Lumia Windows 10 Mobile devices. According to reports from multiple users, this problem is a consequence of a Microsoft update that the company issued earlier this week.
After installing the Mail and Calendar app version 16006.11001.20083.0, the Mail and Calendar apps completely stopped working on some Windows Phones.
“I noticed yesterday there was an update to the Outlook calendar in Mail app, and now when I open up the application it immediately crashes,” a user posted on Reddit.
The problem has been addressed in the latest update that advances app to version 16006.11001.20100 from 16006.11001.20083.0.
“We are currently rolling out an update 16006.11001.20100 that fixes this issue. The update is being rolled out in stages so not everyone will be able to get on it immediately. Please stay tuned and check back at the store regularly. Again we would like to apologize for the inconvenience,” a Microsoft employee posted on Feedback Hub.

Sweet for those that were affected on anniversary update.
Is good to see they are still updating the apps. I have hope that the slip road traffic speed bug in maps will get fixed soon.
Did you get the recent map update version 5.1808.2912.0
available to users in the Release ring.
Yes but it still has the routing issue. The traffic data is not applied to slip roads nor is there any deceleration time allowed. This means it thinks it is faster to leave the motorway and rejoin when it is actually much slower.
I only logged it in the feedback last week once I had figured out why it was going wrong.
Oh it good you feedback it they may not have been aware of it.
